I really didn't like either of them. Bobbie/Jackie did "overact" a lot and I didn't like her ripping on Robert and Holly. But I did admire her devotion to her brother Luke. I was a big Rick and Lesley fan so I was not going to like anyone that came after Lesley. Plus, she was from the wrong side of the tracks although I did have sympathy for her from time to time.

Oh, I had such hate for Ginny when she conveniently ended up married to Rick so soon after Leslie's death.

I didn't like her when she first arrived and started buying Mike off, but later liked her most of the time (especially as she was shooting Brock!) Had mixed feelings about her framing Bobbie afterward, but loved the scene when she broke down and confessed...she was a complex character and Judith Chapman's a great actress, played her really well.

I didn't mind Ginny either. I was a fan of Rick and Lesley, but somehow the chemistry between Rick and Ginny was so different, so offbeat, that I could accept the relationship as not being any sort of slap in the face to Rick and Lesley and what they had shared. Does that make any sense? LOL! I think the only thing I really had against Ginny was that, as the bio mother of Mikey Webber, she was responsible for bringing into the world the most annoying soap kid ever!

I know I'm in the minority but at the time I loved Mikey Weber, now not as much.

Rose was a really nice character. she was very supportive of Holly. Remember her bringing soup to Holly when Robert was sending the flowers, chocolates and balloons? Loved that scene. Of course, that's because it was leading up to THE NIGHT.

Almost from the very beginning of their marriage, I got the feeling that Rose was a little jealous of Holly. I never got that from her. She may have still been missing her Paddy (I wasn't there for those years). I was really rooting for her and Jake.

Bobbie had a crush on Robert? Well maybe thats why bobbie treated Holly so bad when she found out that her and Robert consumated their marriage. I could never understand why Bobbie turned on her when she was her friend and new the whole story on why they got married in the first place. I never saw Bobbie as having a crush on Robert. Remember, she had her sights on Noah, and was livid when he went for Tiffany?

Whatever happened to them. But werent Celia and Jimmylee cousins? I never got how they got married. Edward and Ceilia's Father were brothers. They where cousins but second cousins, not first cousins. Edward and Celia's father where first cousin, meaning that Celia and Jimmie Lee's grandfathers where brothers. They kind of glossed over this fact. They did address that on one episode, but they said there was no reason they shouldn't marry, but yick, it's sorta reminiscent of Appalachia.

Hey this is a genre that regularly has siblings almost sleep together. Yeah I guess you right, I know if I were Steve Bonds cousin I would want to jump on him to. I saw him in person back in the 80's and he is just as fine in person. I never was a Jimmie Lee fan. He may have had a nice body, but to me personality is everything. This is also why I was never a Luke fan.

I got the feeling that Bobbie was just a little jealous of Holly. I think there's always been a weird thing the writers have had with Bobbie where they don't know whether to make her a good girl or a bad girl. One minute she's empathetic and sweet, the next she's completely catty. And a lot of it depended on who she was dating/married to at the time (or if she was single). She and Tiffany had a knock down drag out at some point, didn't they? I'm thinking at the spa, but now I can't remember... It was over Noah, but it was at Tiffany's apartment. I think Robert and Noah, broke them up.
