I am of the mind that the romance started very late in 83, or at least they were thinking about it back then. But it was 1984 when the kisses became [glow=red,2,300]HOT HOT HOT[/glow]

Commish, I think you might be right, but I know she was dating John Erick Hexum around November of 83. I am not sure how long that lasted but I think that they probably were thinking about it in late 83 Thats probably why he filed for divorce in January 84.

JMO, of course, but to me there seemed to be a subtle difference in the way they were relating to one another on-screen by that point. They were either already together or at the seriously flirting stage of their relationship.

We have had hot kisses even in 1983 For example at 2:35 Those kisses were great but they were nothing compared to when the HOT, HOT, HOT. Kisses started in 84. I believe early 83 kisses were kind of tame because from what I use to read Tristans wife was there watching every scene between the two of them. I believe his wife was seeing the incredible chemistry from the very beginning.

I think as a kid, I always wanted the TV stars I watched to REALLY be in love. GH was the first time I can remember it actually happening.

I think as a kid, I always wanted the TV stars I watched to REALLY be in love. GH was the first time I can remember it actually happening. Same here. When I found out that Emma & Tristan were an item off screen it just made my GH fascination that much more intense. I bought every soap magazine I could get my hands on back in the day. Just to see the words in print - *Yes we are dating*- was fabulous. I have always felt the attraction started early on, but by late 1983 it was beginning to be much more. By mid to late 1984 going into 1985 you could just tell on screen that they were way more than on screen acting partners. It made their scenes so much more fabulous to watch. You could just see they were in there own little world at times. ;D It was obvious they were falling....and fast. This scene proves that. Just watch how they look at each other, then that laugh. Tristan & Emma had it going on that day. They were in their own little *private* world. The world of love. I have always believed that if Emma had not left GH when she did they may have been able to make a go of it. I think the age difference could have been a factor maybe? I know Tristan said in an interview later on after the break up that Emma was not ready to settle down anytime soon. And that she was way more out going than him. I think if they both would have been able to stay and work together on the show, the age factor would have been a non issue. And things may have been much different in the end. I'm sure the pressures of work and both trying to be successful in a business with a lot of demands they just drifted apart. I use to wish for years that I would hear they had gotten back together and were happy. I'm sure they will always care for one another. They worked hard on GH to create something that still after over 25 years stands the test of time. That connection can never be broken.

I love this scene!! They are fantastic together. But, as usual, I don't understand when they spoke too fast or laughing What they says? Expecially in the first minute? When he says "I'll tell you later" and they laugh is a joke between them or has sense in the context? ;D ;D

bascially, he makes a sound and she asks what it is... he tells her that is the sound of unbridled delight. he says he married her for two reasons- to save her from deportation...and the other- he will tell her later and they laugh. it must have been an inside joke between them. sorry, i couldn't give the actual dialogue- this is the old computer and the speakers need to be plugged in.
