Wasn't it a self-defense case anyways. She would have saved everyone a lot of trouble if he had just called the cops when it happened. well, she had a secret to hide that would immediately get exposed...plus, she panicked. Well without secrets to hide and panicking there wouldn't be many who doneits to solve.

Did anybody else want R&H to solve it but *not* want Ginny to get into any major trouble? She's one of those characters I hated at first, but really came to like *a lot* (maybe b/c of the look on her face when she shot Brock, he so deserved it!) She killed someone and kind of let Bobbie take the blame, and I didn't want Bobbie to go to jail/be framed, but I couldn't really be mad at Ginny, either...

Well, I wanted R&H to solve it and I wanted Ginny to get in trouble, but I KNEW Ginny wasn't going anywhere. You knew (at some point) that Gloria Monty liked Judith Chapman and she was going to stick around. Kind of like you know Sonny and Jason are never going anywhere! LOL!

Oh I wanted Ginny to get time in the slammer. She was never a favorite of mine.

I have said before, by the end of that storyline I felt sorry for Ginny. I would have been happy with a slap on the wrist.

I have said before, by the end of that storyline I felt sorry for Ginny. I would have been happy with a slap on the wrist. Did she even get that? And Ginny wasn't like Sonny, that murder *was* in self defense, she wasn't a career criminal, she was somebody who had a rough past and was trying to do better. I liked her, and IMO, Monty was right, Judith Chapman was a great actress. She had some great scenes with Robert, too. Even the one when they're watching the videos of the night of Beatrice's death was good, short scene, but good. GH has very few actors of that caliber now...

Oh I don't dispute that Judith Chapman was/is a good actress. It's just that GM was forcing the character of Ginny on us as a instant replacement for Denise Alexander, which I resented. IMO, the character of Ginny was unappealing. I also think they were trying to redo the R&H marriage of convenience plot point with Rick and Ginny but it didn't work.

I 100% agree with this post, tidewater. I LOVED Lesley. Loved her. After Holly and Laura, Lesley is my all-time favorite heroine. I kind of idolized her as a kid. I thought it was cool that she was a female doctor. And I was mad when Gloria Monty fired Denise Alexander. IMO, that was a huge loss for GH. They never really got back their "older, nicer, stable" couple.

I don't really connect Ginny with Leslie's death. I loved when she worked with Robert during the Beatrice murder, and I felt sorry for her when they basically gaslighted her. To me, she is one of those characters that I would always welcome back.
And, last I saw, Judith Chapman looked amazing for her age.

I did notice that at the end of that SL you could tell Robert really did need a haircut He definitely needed a haircut or a trim. This one scenes in particular where he looked too fine he had on a red sweater over black pants, sitting on a couch with Holly talking with Bobbie .What I loved most about this story were that Robert/Holly were so close and together I always loved them working together on anything.

I loved her, too and was initially resistant to Ginny but like I said before, Chapman's acting and Ginny's face when she killed Brock sucked me in ;D.

Well to be totally honest, I'm not sure she was "fired". TPTB put Lesley in a car crash and tried to negotiate a lower salary. Alexander didn't want the lower salary so they killed off Lesley.
