SEE 2006 didn't bother me because I just rewrote it in my head and all was good !! It wasn't really Holly ! Really I hated how they moved her from guy to guy.making her out to be a (you know the word I'm looking for).......Christmas tree , It took Holly months to get over Luke and she was living under a roof with one hot man and didn't go chasing after him, yet alone a under age boy, A step daughters boyfriend, a old flame and a husband. My gosh When Holly was in PCPD and begging while flirting with Luke then Robert thats another sore spot with me. So NOT HOLLY !! WELCOME 1983 !!! My Favorite year !!! Please, don't even remind me.

Regardless of who Ethan is, I just hope that somehow, some way, 2006 is explained away and erased. Holly has to be redeemed.

Not only was Holly waaaayyyy out of character, but so was Robert. The REALRobert would have known right from the beginning that something wasn't right with the woman he had love for years, and he would have done something about it.Also he would have been honest in telling the truth about his relationship with Anna with Robin(tired of him having to pacify her all the time)and would have left to find Holly, the same way he left to find Anna.

Bad thing about 2006 was that show off parachute women. I can't remember her name. I would have so rathered more of Tracey and less of that annoying parachute women who liked to great people with a kick in the teeth, not my favorite greeting.

I must say I found that whole scene funny. Especially when Holly called Anna an Ice cold, heartless abraisive, bitch that was classic. Thats how I have always seen Anna.

I liked that Holly wasn't afraid of Anna, even after she attacked Robert. and I also liked that Holly's issues were how Anna hurt Robert and caused all the problems.

Here's a question: did people think it completely unrealistic that ALL of the people closest to Robert (except Luke who doesn't care about anything anymore) would be so MAD at him upon discovering that he's alive? This guy was THE hero of the show for nearly 10 years and his daughter, two wives (lol) and brother find out he's not really dead and they are all pissed?! Huh? This is NOT how Luke, Laura and Holly were greeted when they came back to life! I kind of feel like TPTB were taking potshots at his character from the get go by having his loved ones react this way. And then there were just the weird reactions, like Noah walking in and just saying "oh, hi Robert" or something equally odd ... as if he'd just seen him two weeks before. WTF?!

Of course it was unrealistic and yes, I do believe TPTB that were taking pot shots at Robert. It's the same with that scene where Lorenzo's goons beat up RXS. That NEVER would have happened under GM's reign.

I agree that the whole thing was unrealistic. I think Guza didn't want to deal with too many reunions. We didn't even see Bobbie, Monica, Alan, or Tony react to finding out Robert was alive. Although, i don't think Robert was written poorly for February.
Even in the bar after Holly was gone- i think he was really hurt and trying to hide it from Luke. Remember Luke noticed something was wrong right away. I think Robert was covering- and we know he made special arrangement for her in the MI and visited.

I hated that scene in the bar but I do agree that Robert seemed to enter that scene upset and heartbroken and suddenly switched gears as if to put on a tough guy act with Luke to cover up. Still, it was pretty hurtful to hear him say those things about Holly. We've heard him say worse about Anna and that is fine with me but it was total Twilight Zone to have him speak of Holly that way.
And yes, everyone's reactions to Robert being alive were pretty ridiculous. Anna should've been totally grateful that he sacrificed so many years of his life due to her crimes. Instead, she kicks him in the head.
Holly---knowing what she went through after Robert found out she was alive, should've given him the benefit of the doubt and heard everything out before getting angry about anything.
But Guza doesn't care about history--he doesn't care what went on before and nothing he does has to make any sense.

I hated almost everything in 06 with the exception of R&H first meeting in the hospital. Tristan and Emma's chemistry was as sizzling as ever and I was so happy that they still had it after all those years.

Something I forgot to mention, little, but makes me angry every time I think about it: that B*TCH CARLY chasing Holly down. I just kept thinking: Really? Carly's the good guys and Holly's the villain? It felt like the freaking twilight zone!
