Man they did have it good together ! I loved the scene when she went to see Luke on the docks and she comes in and puts her arms around Robert and he lets out a "HOLLY" and she says shuuuuu I'm home. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so GOOD !!! That was one of my favorite scenes! He doesn't even hear her come in, and all of the sudden she is there, putting her arms around him. Sigh. That scene was played out so well that I could actually feel what Robert was feeling.........and of course, here is the link..........

I really think this was one of the most intimate scene between Robert and Holly. It is one of my all time favorite moments between them. I just love when Holly kisses Robert's neck right after she says, "I'm back. I'm back to stay." "This is my home now, and I'm your wife." I melt every time I hear these words.

Yea, I love that scene as well. I think I saw it first (in the 2000's) in a M'vid and I was dying to see it live. Then I order the R&H DVDs and got to see it. It was even better than the M'vid.

I loved how when Robert told people he married Holly, he had this big smile on his face. He wasn't in love with her, but he wasn't upset about it either. Maybe a nervous smile.
Soon, they became inseparable. I loved how Holly described it that they "Slipped into love". It was a slow glide. Holly was really happy with her life with Robert and slowly they started to do couple things, not because they had to, but because they wanted to do things together.

I think a lot of it had to do with how Robert treated her. He was kind and understanding..........she never had that with Luke. With Luke it was all about anger and control. Robert was so sweet and caring and genuinely fun to be with, without any expectations or demands.

Absolutely! He treated her like a lady. Luke was all grabby and crabby. He never let go of the distrust of the oil scam.

And let's not forget that Robert didn't treat Anna as nicely as he did Holly. He treated Anna like a "mate" whereas he treated Holly like a queen.

I love how he walked away and was like *yeah she's going to be wearing my ring" and the next morning...watching her admire it ;D

What I really love was the look on his face the next day when Holly confessed that it was the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. That admission took Robert by surprise.

I think that I realized they were falling in love after they had dinner with Grant and Celia they just seemed to happier than the couple that was actually getting married.
