I think that the writers who wrote this scene must have really experienced a sick spouse.Robert was whiney and needy and I don't blame Holly for about to go off on him.It was funny because it was so true.

It was also during the Women in Blue storyline so there was already tons of tension between them. Robert had stupidly put the kibosh on their bedroom activities as a way of getting Holly to amend her position.
It was great mini-storyline that showed their comic abilities.

I loved this one and I have been so nostalgic this week for Laura doing Miss Star Eye despite Luke's objections, Holly supporting the women in blue, Anna leaving Duke when she discovered he was a mobster, Monica and Tracy taking no crap from anyone ... on the heels of Liz being burned at the stake for an affair and Carly telling Lulu to "stand by her man" even if he is a criminal, these scenes are refreshing.

This story was funny and I liked that Holly took her stand with the WIB.She loved ,respected and supported Robert, yet she had opinions that didn't always agree with Roberts.A far cry from the YES women of todays GH who are there as props for their men. Sam,who coddles the mob prince Jason after his 100th box o pain walk. Carly and Alexis who think Jasonny is the best father in the world.

I always like the way that Holly could stand up to Robert without resorting to screaming at him like his the subsequent leading ladies did.

I noticed that too.She and Robert could argue(which was rare) and yet neither of them would stoop so low as to call each other out of their names.
What was a favorite scene or scenes during Robert's illness?

What was a favorite scene or scenes during Robert's illness? I liked the end where he felt better. He ran her ragged and she was exhausted. Like a clueless guy, now that he feels better he thinks everything is fine and he is kissing her and she falls asleep. LOL I also agree that I like how Robert and Holly could disagree, but never disrespected each other because of it. And in the end, they were open to seeing the other side and Robert, to his credit, actually changed his opinion when the WIB proved(with Holly's help) that they could do the same job. and it wasn't done in a confrontational way and it WASN'T BORING!

What was a favorite scene or scenes during Robert's illness? I always loved R/H lighthearted storylines such as this one, the WIB,Holly's sprain ankle, and of course the Porchenkos for the simple fact that R/H made all their storylines so much fun and interesting even if they weren't doing much. What was a favorite scene or scenes during Robert's illness? Robert lying on the couch and talking away, and asked Holly to hold his hand like a big baby.I thought they were so cute.

I really liked this "mini" storyline as well. It just showcased the "normalcy" of Robert and Holly and that somehow Tristan and Emma could make being sick interesting. I also really enjoyed when Holly sprained her ankle. I really don't need shoot-outs and blow-ups to keep me interested in a soap. I just want real, genuine emotions.

I love:
Holly: "Come on. You're not going to let a little dispute over sexism get in the way of our sex life are you?"
Robert: "Your use of the word little I find curious."
Holly: "Well, does it have to be big? We are allowed a friendly disagreement."
Robert: "Alright yeah sure. I'll just forget about that fact that my wife has turned against me like some sort of a crazy dog."
ROTFL I don't know if Tristan and Emma were together at this time but they had a great chemistry in the hot scenes as well as the funny scenes

All of his WSB partners had been women and he supported Laura's pursuing Miss Star Eyes despite Luke's objections. Now, he did go overboard at times in protecting Holly from danger, but he never seemed to have a problem with well-trained women being his equals/doing dangerous work before or after the WIB thing ... I also loved him when she went to the casino alone/late at night (flirting with Luke) and he told her "Look, love, you can do whatever you like." It's pretty funny that Robert was often called a chauvinist and male characters now who are 10x worse never get called on it...

That's another reason I get mad when people say Robert Scorpio was a sexist or a deadbeat dad. He was overprotective but I think he had a healthy respect for all women. Remember who his first partner was? O'Reilly. Then there was Connie. And Anna. He was respectful of Tiffany and Jackie working. I think he was cute when he got all overprotective about Holly. She was definitely his spot spot (along with Robin).

Emma and TR got to showcase just how comfortable they had become on screen with each other and just how well they could switch gears from drama to less dramatic material with such ease. Loved It! Holly Sprains Her Ankle Holly Gets Her Revenge On Robert Good stuff from TR and Emma once again.
