with the story. I am obsessed with that wig Robert wears in '85 and am convinced it's the same one Tony is wearing when he gets out of the hospital. Maybe Buzz in '86, too? The lit candles when RnH go upstairs their first time. How did the house not burn down? Perhaps I have ADHD?  |

I'm fixated on Holly's ring. Sometime in 1983, she gets a completely different wedding ring. I don't know when it is though.

I was obsessed with R/H different robes and Robert's jogging suits at one time. I was very Impressed that they had so many. Plus, I was fixated on the tray they dropped their keys in whenever they enter or left the house. lol

Holly's kidnappings: Prometheus Disk and Aztec Treasure, Holly wears the same thing for what weeks and never gets to shower or brush her teeth. Robert could have found her on her smell alone. And with regard to Prometheus Disk kidnapping, Celia was all traumatized after she was set free and had a stay in the hospital. Luke and Holly get shot at, fake bullets, but Holly gets sent to the Quartermaine's after she's found, again no offer of a shower or change of clothes and no one offering to examine her mental sate, nada. Then she finally gets to go home and Robert smooches her like crazy, again no shower and teeth still go un-brushed. They do end up going upstairs, we hope to shower. Shower scene would have been cool. I guess sex with Robert was her way of dealing with the trauma of being kidnapped and almost shot to death  |

Agree re. Celia being a wimp/Holly stronger. And think a smutfic of post kidnapping shower is in order ... Robert had also been wearing that suit for awhile (not as long, but it WAS summer!)

the shower thing has always bugged me...no matter the show and who is the hostage. Also, no bathroom. If there was a bathroom....i am going to assume they showered in the sink. LOL
but then, you realize that TR and ES and all the rest were actually wearing the same clothes themselves for months (only wardrobe washes them at night and presumably have multiples of the same clothes).

I have always wondered if the change in rings didn't have something to do with "off screen" happenings. Like this was possibly "a special ring" TR had given Emma.  Just a thought!! |

My guess is that the original ring got lost so they got a new one. I'm sure TPTB thought the fans weren't paying that much attention to Holly's ring. But of course, we were. ;D We were soap fans!

There was a bathroom in the part of the pavilion where they were held hostage, that's where we see Grant "making" blanks (it has a shower, too ... though am guessing the hostagesweren't allowed to use that)... AND look at Holly's ring at 1:49 ... doesn't look like either of the other two?! |

I believe that Holly wore that gold ban on her right hand as far back as the the Oil Scam. I always assumed that it belonged to Emma.

Maybe it once got lost or misplaced. There is an interview somewhere that states that Emma wore the ring all the time to prevent from forgetting to put it on. Hmmmmm? And the investigation goes on. Unless she gets a twitter from someone she has twittered back to, asking her about the ring?  |

OK, someone please educate the ignorant, i.e. me. This is regarding the movie and book Rebecca. R&H watched the movie and Holly referred to it as a fairy story. IN 92 Nanny was reading it to Robin and co. and went on an on about what a great book it is. So silly me read it then and thought "HUH?". For some odd reason silly me decided to read it again, finished a few days ago, and still thinking, "HUH?". How on earth is this book a fairy story???!! OK; woman marries older man, kind like R&H, moves to his beautiful house, Manderly, that everyone is obsessed about, which is haunted by the memory of dead wife, a.k.a Rebecca. This said woman turns out to have been a major bitch and was killed by her husband, aforementioned older dude. OH and the new Mrs. is being terrorized by the head maid who is obsessed with Rebecca and her memory. In a crazy mas fit, said housekeeper burns the place down, after realizing the Mr. killed Rebecca. So again, how the hell is this a fairy story that, in Holly's eyes was wonderful???
