I think John Reilly is a very likeable person on air---that is his own charm that I think he brings to the table. That is what could make Sean likeable---John's real self---but as a character---he was often despicable. I liked the Robert/Luke friendship much better.

Okay, so Sean is a likeable bad guy but I never care for how much his character seemed to flip flop according to how best it suited the s/l.

I also didn't like Robert's attitude at first when Holly came.I know he was there to help Luke, but he could have been happier to see his wife when she came. It's true but I think he wasn't happy because he knew how Holly was able to put herself in troubles and he always wants to protect her However she was fantastic when she left Robert and Luke On the road ;D ;D

Holly was so cool and calm driving up(and looking fabulous at the same time) and picking them up off the road.Did Robert really think that he was going to keep his adventureous wife on the sideline?

I think that is one of the most classic sequences of all time on GH. It was just perfection. From Holly bidding them goodbye all sweet and nice (after having tampered with the jeep) to her pulling up and then arguing about who will drive---and the car not starting ! Too funny !

I loved the scenes when they showed Holly at the hacienda lounging by the pool and then eating in bed, just waiting for the right moment to rescue the Scruffy Duo.

I was reading on another board some comments from some R/A fans about how he turned on Anna in 1992 by squealing to Robert that he had seen Anna crying over Faison more than once. Well, personally, I never got over Sean being behind Holly's kidnapping. It kept me from warming up to him.

I just watched the mexican adventur again and I was just wondering. Did anybody get the feeling that Luke was still a little jealous of Robert and Holly. And I got the feeling again that Laura did not like Holly much.

And I got the feeling again that Laura did not like Holly much. Well, I can remember Laura seeming a little prickly in that one scene with Luke when she heard Holly was in on the fun when she had been stuck back at the hiacienda with Felicia's grandmother, but I don't think she actually disliked Holly. I think Laura worked through any issues she had about Luke and Holly after her return in late 1983 when Holly was so sweet to her and so reassuring about her love and devotion to Robert. And, no, I never got that Luke was still jealous of Robert and Holly. I think he may have been envious that they were together while he was apart from Laura because she was at the hiacienda, but I think that was it. The only vibe I got about Luke and Holly during the Mexican adventure was friendship.

Ok, maybe he was envious. But I have always gotten a bad vibe anytime Laura talked to Holly.

I'm not sure Laura and Holly would have ever become best friends but I think they worked through everything back in 1983. And I don't think Luke was jealous of Robert and Holly during the Mexican Adventure. I just think he missed his angel. Luke was totally fine with Robert and Holly. And THIS is why there is NO WAY Luke would have ever cheated on Laura with his best friend's (Robert's) wife Holly. No way, no way, no way! LOL!

I have to agree. It was pretty clear Luke was really happy for Robert and Holly. There was no romantic interest in Holly at all and Holly certainly didn't have eyes at all for luke. I didn't get a jealous vibe from Laura(about Holly). Maybe she was annoyed that Luke lied- she even said something about it. But it was pretty clear Holly was all about Robert and Robert was all about Holly
