Giada, that last part was sad. I could never figure out if he was hoping that she had the house with somebody else or him.

I actually read Rebecca a few years ago just because of Robert and Holly. I liked reading the descriptions of the house and the long drive. Cool story. Now I just have to watch the movie.

Giada, that last part was sad. I could never figure out if he was hoping that she had the house with somebody else or him. I think He really wished she were happy one day with or without him. This is the true love. Sigh

I watched Rebecca on YouTube just because of the famous RH scene. It was er, interesting. Definately not what I suspected.

Yea, thanks for the suggestion. I didn't know it was an Alfred Hitchcock film. Very cool.

I read Rebecca some years ago too just because of Robert and Holly and saw the movie. Both were cool but I remember liking the book more (which is usually the way).
I also think that Robert wanted Holly to be happy with or without him. If only Holly would've said right then and there it would only work if it was with him.

I think Holly got a little emotional when he said it. Both of them were so sad
