Yea, I don't think Robert kissed Anna although he was about to and then Anna pulled off that hideous scar. LOL. I know Robert was supposed to kiss Anna but Tristan changed the script. You gotta love Tristan! Thank God he did! |

we would never have heard the end of it, had Robert kissed Anna. Plus, i would have wanted to punch him if he did it.
I liked later he kissed her and it meant nothing at all. He didn't even get that it could possibly mean anything to Anna. LOL

There was a couple times that TR made changes in order to keep Robert and Holly's image intact. I give him a lot of credit for that, and I'm glad he had the clout back then to do it. Nowadays, not so much. ( hence 2006 )

Well at least Guza had the sense this last time around to make Robert and Anna nothing more than friends. Then Guza gives us (possibly) the coma baby. Do you think Guza could give us Robert and Holly?

Wow, I do not remember the scene when he was looking at Holly and thinking of Anna, I must have blocked that scene out. That must have been a terrible scene to watch. I also do not remember a kiss on the docks I think they were about to kiss then she pulled the scar off. I can remeber during this scene I was upset because why would he even think about kissing that other woman while Holly was away.  |

I just wish that the whole storyline with that other women would have never started because things have not been the same since for Robert and Holly. Hopefully come may sweeps we will get what we have been waiting for since 1985 the reunion we deserve with all the magic of 1983.

Yes that was an awful awful scene!!!!!!!!!!!! He had no business looking at Holly and thinking of Anna. For me that was just about the lowest point of 85. It was like you could feel it all falling apart......

OK, i hate the tone of this and that summer of 1985...
So, i will say the payoff was just fantastic. Once we got Holly off that train and Robert found her, it was GOLD. There were a lot of great scenes-- i guess GM trying to make it up to us R&H fans and she realized TR was not going to stay and it ws R&H everyone wanted.

Yea, I hated all the train crap as well. Robert and Anna pretending to be lovers....blech! Honestly, the part I hated the most is that Robert and Holly weren't in any scenes together. Part of the magic of R&H were all those little scenes that TR and ES did so well....and we had none of those when Robert was on that damn train! Thank god he finally found Holly and we got our happy ending!

I hated it at the time too. Looking back I really like the fact that Robert wasn't tempted in the least by Anna during that train rouse. He was completely focused on the mission until he found about Holly being kidnapped by Sean. Then his focus was on rescuing Holly.
