Renee, I almost forgot all about that horse incident. I remember reading articles about it. Thats why they wrote that sprained ankle in, for her last scenes. Renee you remember everything. Anyway that summer was a complete nightmare, it is still hard for me to watch those scenes knowing that ES was leaving.

I don't knew the story of the horse incident. It was a conspiracy to make the Emma's leaving worse I have hated Dinasty for this and I have hated Aaron Spelling for 20 years I think Renee is right, we were lucky that Robert and Holly left together. I remember Tristan said that that was the only possible end for them, destined to be togheter.

Oh god, I hate that Anna ever arrived in PC, . This was the beginning of a 25 year nightmare. As a Duke and Anna fan, I think this really could have been left at a 6 month nightmare in '85 (and until 1991 it was). I'm not convinced by RnA fans that people wanted Anna and Robert together from '85 on. It's pretty clear from how both Robert and Holly and Duke and Anna played out (and the ratings decline both after Ian Buchanan left and again when Robert and Anna got together) that 80's GH fans wanted nothing of the sort. The writers could have easily put them back together in '87 and didn't. And why not? Because fans would have freaked, and, at that time, the writers actually gave fans the pairings they wanted...RnA were an afterthought that existed only because first Emma Samms and then Ian Buchanan left the show. Actually, you could say it's b/c TR left, too; we all know had he stayed in '92, Robert and Holly would have been back together in no time...

The Dynasty horse thing is the reason Holly had to go to the hospital and stayed there. They said that an ambulance would take Emma from one set to the other and GH wrote in the hospital bed. Also, i think Emma couldn't go on location for GH because she had to be in the studios to be available to Dynasty- so she was kidnapped on that damn train.

As bad as it was that Emma left for Dynasty, at least ABC was somewhat kind to us. They let her appear on both shows long enough to tie up loose ends. I think that saved us from a very unhappy ending....

Yes ( If Tristan had stayed in '92, Robert and Holly would have been back together. I can't think this Most definitely. If Tristan had stayed, Robert and Holly would have found their way back together. I know the R/A fans like to think it wouldn't have been that simple, but Finola was gone and they had already set the stage somewhat with all the implications that Anna might have gone with Faison willingly.

All the could haves, would haves, and should haves. At this point, I want Robert and Holly just to have some decent scenes together. Is that too much to ask? Apparently so.

They didn't even need those implications; she was kidnapped by a madman, they could have killed her off ... as they did. Or brought Duke back and made it *really* interesting

But also the Robert/Holly/Anna triangle at that point would have been very very interesting with the two Mrs Scorpio ;D It's a shame that we couldn't see it

I actually wouldn't mind a "triangle" with these three characters if it was done right. I think there is a LOT of unresolved stuff here. But I would want a writer who did see ALL of Robert, Holly and Anna and not just parts of them. And they would need to keep them all in character. If a writer did that, I would feel very confident with the outcome of this storline. And then they can bring back Duke for Anna! ;D
