Mexico! Often when I need a Robert and Holly "fix" I'll go to the Pool Scene on YouTube. I also enjoyed seeing Luke and Laura as part of the Mexico storyline although R&H's love scenes were a lot hotter. R&H love scenes were tons hotter than L&L scenes during the Mexico s/l. I bet the L&L fans felt ripped up because their couple got so little airtime together while R&H were the premiere couple of the s/l. Well to be fair, Luke & Laura were guest stars at the time. Plus, Genie really wasn't even on the show that long. And in comparison to today's GH, L&L had some hot love scenes!! But R&H did have more and HOTTER love scenes!

I guess a bigger L&L than me would have to address this as I'd say they are 3rd on my list of favs, and probably a distant third from RnH/DnA, but their scenes were great, even if not a lot, and they did get Lucky out of that s/l. I also kind of liked that they had Laura back in Texas snooping.

I think in Mexico RnH were at their best. They shared fun, love, adventure, passion. Nothing can compare with all this.

Considering what we got in '91 and all that's been downhill from there, I cherish all of their s/ls, major or minor 83-85
For '84:
1) Mexico - making up poolside and elsewhere <3...they were hotter than July! Sizzling!!!!/ Holly "rescuing" Robert and Luke after sabotaging their car; Luke being afraid to let Robert drive (Holly mentioned somewhere before that he was a speed demon);Sean hitting on her and she and Robert having a good laugh about it.
2) The Porchenkos - at the end, the "this and that" kiss, whew! and the pre-trip romance that Luke interrupted. Plus I loved Tristan's hair, lol!
3) WIB - "sick Robert" was too funny, lol, what a big, beautiful, baby, plus a lesson on how to fight, stand your ground and come out in a win-win situation.
4) Beatrice/Leo - Holly trying to be super sleuth and messing up yet not wanting to get busted while her darling husband has no doubt about what happened. Never for an instant did he get the wrong idea about it --- it just reinforced what he told her about their relationship at the outset - he trusted her. Him asking her why she didn't feel she could come to him - and him ready to sacrifice his career for her if need be. I fell in love with him all over again, lol! Geez, I've lost count how many times, lol
5) Doppelganger Grant was my least favorite because Grant was a bore and now 2x over, but anything that brought my lovebirds on screen and any excuse to see them together was welcome!
Dance scam I don't remember too much about, but I do remember that Holly got a chance to prove her "detective" instincts.

[ What does Robert call himself at the end? The Melbourne something or other. The Melbourne Moor... but I don't know what it means I think it was actually The Melbourne Mauler. He was so busy doing just that that his words were kind of slurred.

Actually, I loved all those storylines. They all were great.
