My best friend started watching the Prometheus Disk story and now she's hooked on the storyline and R&H. She's in love with Robert and Holly. She want to watch their entire love story now lucky for her I have all of R&H story.

I really loved the storyline, but it did drag out, didn't it? Robert and Holly spent far too much time apart. But it did give us a chance to see how desperately they wanted to get back to each other. After the kidnapping, the story only lasted a month, but it was torturous for us. Just as it was only a month after Luke returned that she made up her mind. Then it took another 10 days for her to make her way to "their" bed. Would have been 9, but she chickened out.

It was pretty long, but not as long as the treasure s/l that lasted forever ... there's probably still a piece of that thing wandering around somewhere! I really did not like that s/l, but Robert and Holly made it bearable. Worse part about it was that Anna had to come try to worm herself between them.

Am re-watching lots of PD for the first time in 26 years as I upload and am really liking how the writers involved so many characters via the little twists and turns. I just got to Jackie's return with Hendrick and while it's crazy that she shows up with him (and that Tiffany knew Gregory), it's *great*! Wish current writers could think to involve so many... It is great, isn't it. I loved how they had so many different characters interacting within the same storyline. Nowadays, everyone has to be connected to Sonny in some way. I read somewhere that before GM came to GH, all soaps were basically stories of people in cliques. There was very little overlap of storylines. She basically changed how soaps were written. I remember at the time, I was also watching GL, and one story was about Quentin and Nora. She was basically a captive in his mansion, but noone in her family seemed concerned about her whereabouts. They had their own issues.

She had to leave the that Robert and Holly could have sweet reunion. lol, I like that answer Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she was doing a guest appearance or something on HOTEL or something like that. It did seem odd that Holly just went to Barbados in the middle of the storyline. Maybe Emma had to go back to London or something. You might be right, I saw some clips of here on that show on YouTube with her ex-boyfriend, Jon-Erik Hexum. Did anybody suspect Grant or Natalie before their DVX identities were revealed? I ask b/c I was clueless and found it so juicy ... especially about Natalie! I think Celia and Robert were both beginning to suspect Grant of a double life. She was still clueless util they tried to run away together, but Robert was just getting there when Holly was kidnapped. As far a Natalie was concerned, I think Luke was suspicious. That's when he started avoiding her.

I never had a clue about Natalie.
The writing was so good back then. Nowadays, if you have an unexpected villain, it's because they have written themselves into a corner and have to come up with some out of blue plot point. Prime example is the text message killer a few years back. Turned out to be someone that was already dead, then alive, then killed again.
