Questions about Robert and Holly

I wasn't watching GH by then, so I don't know what happened to Robert after he and Anna had supposedly died in 1992 and he didn't resurface until 2006?

And while living in Australia in 1986, when did he go back to work for the WSB?

Lastly, what's the story on Holly having been pregnant while she was in a coma? Wasn't that an established s/l until it got retconned in 2009?


Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Holly was never actually pregnant by Robert on the show. The coma baby exists only in RnH fanfiction, but it fits perfectly into the off-screen timeline following her accident and presumed death. Which is more than can be said for the Luke and Holly fling in Singapore retcon. What a shame that fanfic writers can come up with a storyline that respects history and professional writers cannot.

So I've decided to go back and watch some R&H 2006, I know it sucked, but some parts are funny. Have a question, they mention Bogota. What was that all about?

Bogota? Is that the part of 2006 where Robert, Holly, and Luke were saying they went on many adventures together? That was a Bob Guza invention. It never happened on-screen.

It did suck but I liked the playful side of Robert and Holly. I, especially liked the kiss!

Does anyone remember when Holly gave Robert the kangaroo that he always had on his office desk? I only have a vague recollection, but can't pin down exactly when or why.

Holly didn't give Robert the kangaroo. It just showed up one day in Robert's office. I want to say it was about the 3rd day the office was on the air. I think the producers were still putting the office together. And remember for a while, Robert just worked in an interview room or in Burt's office during the Susan Moore murder case. It took them a while to finally give Robert his office.

But I loved the kangaroo on Robert's desk. It was a nice touch.

Oops, I told some trivia person on Twitter that Holly gave it to him; must have confused it with the platypus (or was that Tiff?) Oh well ... pretty sure he gave it to Robin when he left in '85, though.

This one I do know for sure, Holly bought the platypus for his office while she was decorating the Townhouse.

Tiffany gave them the turtle that sat at the top of the stairs as a housewarming gift.

I can't even act like I know if he gave the kangaroo to Robin.

But I would say since no one saw on screen how the kangaroo hopped up on the desk...I like the scenario that Holly gave it to him as a gift.

So when was Robert's love of stone wildlife established?!

It's amazing how the writers are making it sound like Robert worked so much when he and Holly were in Australia and at the same time Guza added in new adventures that could only have happened while Robert and Holly were in Australia and Luke and Laura were in Texas. Those couple of years they lived in Australia sure had alot packed into them. A bunch of new adventures, Robert going off on assignments by himself, Holly going to Singapore and having a one night stand with Luke, Holly having a pregnancy that she hid from Robert, Holly having the baby early and giving it away and then Holly going into a coma. Good grief.

I'm working on some fic in which, among other things, I'm trying to fix the Ethan's-paternity debacle, and I need some help with the timeline. When Robert came back to Port Charles at the beginning of June 1987, did he say how long it had been since the plane crash that Holly had supposedly perished in? Anybody know? I'm trying to make stuff make sense, but it's impossible because the GH timeline is so effed up! Ethan's birthday is supposedly September 22, 1987, which actually is perfect timing for him to be a Scorpio coma baby because Robert returned to Australia from Port Charles in January of that year, so Ethan should've been a Welcome Home present from that R&H reunion. BUT...that also means Robert should've known Holly was pregnant before he went back to PC again in June 1987---she would've been 5 or 6 months along! So do we know when she got in the car/plane accident that comatized her? Was it much earlier than June '87?

You may be on the right track there,however, there was never any date mentioned regarding her coma. I'm working on a fan fic too. How did you find Ethan's date of birth? Now I need to do a re-write Stinkin GH, wish they would get the real story right!!

I don't know much of anything about that bad luck Ethan but I do know that Robin spoke to her dad and Holly on the phone. I think it was in March or Maybe April (87) I think it was around the time that Anna and Duke broke up over Duke's past because Robin was really upset over it. So, R/H were a least together during that time.

when Robert let Autumn down easy- it was just around New Years and he said it had been 8 months since Holly's funeral. Which makes it April. But for whatever reason- I always thought it was May.
