There was so much angst in this storyline. I never really understood why Holly didn't just tell him, but it seemed she kept getting in deeper and deeper.

Holly really dug herself deep with that one.

She had a lot of help there. That Leo was a cad. I think one of my favorite parts of that storyline was when Robert found the pictures. He never one thought that Holly had really done anything wrong. That's true love!!

I agree about one of the best scenes in the Beatrice storyline being where Robert sees the pictures of Holly and Leo and it never even enters his mind that Holly cheated on him.
I also love the scene where Leo weasles into Robert's office and they both know about the Leo/Holly pictures. Leo walks out of the office, goes back to his desk, and SLAMS his desk. Great scene! I still wish Robert would have nailed Leo though.

Ok here's a topic for discussion.......... What do you think Robert would have done if Holly was going to be convicted and sent to prison? Would he have taken her and run until he could have found a way out? Or would he have let them take her to jail? Robert was a very honorable person..........If it were anyone else but Holly, I would say he would send her to jail and worry about it later, but in this case I really don't know. I personally think he would have hidden her away somewhere for awhile or soemthing until he found a solution. Hmmm..........there's a fanfic in there somewhere!

I think he would have turned her in. He was that honorable. I mean, they were both going to the DA's office to confess. That's just my interpretation though. Now, today's Robert probably would have helped Holly rob a bank to get away. Anything goes with Guza's characters.

Really? You think he would have turned her in? I figured they would go through with the confession, but also figured when it came to trial and things weren't looking good, he would do something.

Maybe. It's hard to say. I think it would have made for some good storyline. I think it could have gone either way. I mean, Robert adored his Holly and it would have killed him to see her go to jail. Who knows?

JMO~~~ I think Robert showed the length he would go to. I mean he did hide the picture from everyone ( You could say he stole it). plus he knew for a while that Holly might have killed her by given that drug, and he said nothing. I would have bet he would have gone thru the motions of it all and when it came down to if Holly was to go to jail he would have ran or fudged the information some how to clear her.
Beatrice story line was my all time favorite of them as a couple (not including the start of there love affair). It kinda to me showed that no matter how strong you think your love for someone is there's always that little bit of doubt. but thats JMO LOL

Haha. doesnt mean we are right, but we are thinking alike. You are right, he already put his honor in danger by hiding the pictures, and hiding the fact that he knew Holly had drugged Beatrice. At any rate, after this discussion I was forced to put in the DVD........and watch all over again. Sigh.

I don't know that Holly would have allowed him or them to run. I think he would want to, but she would have said no and he would have agreed that it wasn't the right thing to do.

I always loved that Holly wanted and insisted upon facing up to the things she did, no matter the consequences. The only thing she cared about was what it would do to those she loved.
