So did Tristan. He hated the back and forth. But obviously the audience loved it ;D ;D Laura: I hated that scene, too. But it was a turning point in their relationship

TRobert was totally free emotionally to express what he felt for Holly . I loved this. He was totally free emotionally. He hadn't fear to say I love you and say it again even if she never said the words back. What man!! ;D

I read or saw an interview somewhere and he said something like he told them to just let him have her. He was tired of the back and forth. It was worth all of the struggle though! It's funny, b/c I'd say the complete love and understanding he gave Holly in that time (despite some of his mean comments here and there) are what really made the character of Robert go from Luke's sidekick to GH's leading man. I mean, who did NOT think he was nearly the perfect man then ... audience wise of course, some of the other characters just did NOT get his total charm in the summer of '83

I have to agree with you, rhda. I think the love story and the complete love and understanding Robert showed Holly was amazing and made him seem like a perfect guy and it made him more vunerable and warm. He wasn't just this cool spy, he was warm, loving, sexy, and romantic too. He had a soft side.

TR/Robert was now the sexy, romantic, leading man!! And Emma/Holly was the envy of every damn woman in the country!

I loved him when I was 10 and I still love him

I really do love this scene. It was a very nice moment between the two of them and, for me, it is when Holly understands where is (and who is) her home. But... I love you very much Yes, I know ARGGG.... Holly!!! ;D ;D ITA! ARGHHHHHHHHHH!
