Love triangles have been a soap staple plot like forever when done right they can be wonderful and memoriable for example. The Robert/Holly/Luke triangle. That was a story done right. The angst, the love and the final payoff was worth the wait. Now take an example of a so-called triangle gone bad or in this case gone horrid with the Morgan/Kiki/Michael mess.None of the characters are likable so that the audience could care less how it ends up.
Which triangles past and/or present do you think were good and which were bad?

Nice topic. Unfortunately, i have only this to add: Or, which were we robbed of. Robert/Anna/Holly . Like we wouldn't have been able to guess that outcome had it played out.

I don't like any of them either. Only killing off kids rates higher for me as most hated soap staples. Back from the dead, surprise kids, etc...all are better than the triangle for me.
Luke/Holly/Robert wasn't a triangle in my mind because Holly never truly loved Luke and said so...what she and Luke had wasn't real love.
I'm glad they dropped Lesley/Rick/Rose...I liked Rose well enough but not as a major character and don't see how she could have been any kind of competition against Lesley in Rick's eyes or heart.
Probably the last successful triangle this show had was Sonny/Brenda/Jax. Both sides had a considerable fan base. I liked Jax better than Sonny...and Brenda more than both of them...but Sonny showed some of the last bits of humanity I've ever seen from him (18+ years ago.)

I loved the Sonny/Brenda/Jax triangle. Though once again I was lost wondering where Brenda's head was cause Jax got it all over Sonny...24-7/365. It seemed to me the decision was easy. I have to totally agree the killing of a kid is the worst storytelling ever. Even though I think the best storyline GH has ever had was the death of BJ Jones. Lucy and Felicia made that story. Lynn and Kristina were amazing in that. ITA about Lucy (Lynn)/Felicia (Kristina) and also Tony (Brad Maule) were outstanding and the story was amazing on a lot of levels. But when I think about where BJ would be now and the possible soapy stories that could be there for her, I wonder if it was the right decision...definitely great at the time but long term, I think a lot was lost. Tony was never the same after that.
