The clip is on youtube here:
However, the later scene with the letter was done with much more class.

that whole thing was tacky to say the very least. However, Felicia was a good friend to Robert and to Holly, that one scene excluded.
Honestly, i think that both Frisco and Felicia were thrown by the news and then Robert happily greeting Capt. Lewis and others. The whole thing was just wrong and i am glad the EP saw the error of his ways (mind you--notice it was the EP who held responsibility) and took steps to correct it and did a fine job at that.

Robert's behavior I can explain away as him suppressing his feelings. He was taught in the WSB to compartmentalize his emotions. I think he stuffed them way down deep when Holly died.

I think he grieved as best he could at the time, but when he returned to PC, he was determined to bury it. You could see the moments of hesitation and not wanting to talk about it. I guess we have TR to thank for that. Poor Kristina Wagner didn't have the pull to change her lines- remember what she was supposed to be saying it in response to....

That scene really bugged me, and it was so out of character. Nobody seemed to be upset at all. How can you be that big of a part of a town and have nobody shed a tear when you die? Nuts.

What really bugged me was that Anna was getting all sort of attention for her recent break up with her fiance but the recently widowed Scorpio was ignored. It's like nobody thought that Robert had any feelings.

I say Luke & Tiffany were/are his 2 best friends. But, he and Felicia did spend a lot of time together before he was with Cheryl and she was with Colton, for awhile I thought they might become an item - they went to lunch and dinner together on several occasions in late '87 and early '88 and were pretty touchy-feely at times. I'd say Bobbie, but they were at odds a lot: over Holly, during the Brock case, and when she 'bought' Lucas.

I remember it tore him up so much to charge Bobbie with Brock's murder..........so they were good friends, but I seem to remember it was always about locking up his "best friends sister" more than just a best friend. IF that makes any sense at all?

IF that makes any sense at all? That makes a lot of scenes. Bobbie and Robert weren't friends the way that Tiffany and Robert were friends.

Robert was always closer to Luke, than Bobbie.
i did love that later in 1985, Bobbie was really encouraging and a cheerleader for Robert and Holly to get back together. Even in 1992, after Bobbie saw Holly on TV, she went to Robert and kept saying how Holly loved him and that she would never purposely leave him.

Lee was also a friend to Robert. He was supportive of him and sort of turned his head during the Porchenko s/l.

Well I wish they would bring back Burt. I loved how suportive he was of H&R. They only reason he did what he did was because they did not make him Comissoner like they should have. He had no business sharing the title with Anna. Anna has ruined many lives.

I don't think Burt was commissioner material. He should have been the police cheif solely. Making Anna co-police cheif was a joke. Was she suppose to arrest her former client who provided and bought her fenced goods.

I agree real stupid and unbelieveable. I like Anna better as a fence! I think Robert wanted burt to take over as Comissioner when he left for Auss.
