I like that song for Robert and Holly more than the others! That song says everything about their relationship especially the last 3 months of it.

You know, I've been watching this story and it's a bit weird for me to see Robert not being Police Comissioner, since that's how I've gotten used to him. What's also interesting is how he goes against not telling the police and him and Bert Ramsey are at odds. This is very different than what I am used to with Bert and Robert as a team.
One character I've really come to like with this story is Joe Kelly. I liked him alot and the way he and Robert worked together, what ever happened to his character?
Another thing that was a bit jarring was the bluntness of Holly's character at first, though, that seemed to go away within a few dozen clips or so and now she's more like the Holly I know.

I think I watched some, but stopped paying attention to GH after Laura left and after the writers broke Robert and Tiff up, so some things I'm now noticing in the Oil Scam story: ES's acting was not the best during her first few months on the show and Luke was a major bully to Holly, bordering on domestic violence, really. Check this scene starting at about 3:11: I know she's lying to him, but really, this is pretty brutish.

I think there are a few interviews with ES where she says how awful (rubbish) her acting was when she started. She definitely got way better. Luke was really always grabbing, shoving, and yelling at Holly. He was a brute.

I know it's only a few, but I still scratch my head.

I agree, what Luke did to Holly was borderline abuse. I never could see how anyone liked them as a couple. They had a few nice scenes together but for the most part he was either screaming at her or shoving her around.

In fact I can remember not watching very much of GH back in those days, until 1983 when you just knew Holly and Robert where going to be thrown together. ;D And now here we all are, so many years later still wanting them together once again.

After not seeing much of the original Luke/Holly stuff until YouTube came along, have to agree with you Commish. That's why I never liked them as a couple. Luke was for the most part a complete a$$ to her.

Luke was really a complete jerk. I remember hoping he would be delayed getting to Holly so he didn't interrupt Robert and Holly getting together. lol
