Maybe Patrick's soft spot for Holly was inherited from Noah? Just watching #207 of the Oil Scam and even though he'd lost his shirt to her family, he puts up 10k toward her bail!

Oh I forgot about that. Maybe it does run in the family. That was one good thing to come out of 2009---that most people were happy to see Holly like Patrick and Mac. It really helped wash away some of the bad taste of 2006.

I love this scene, Holly's toast is prophetic and on a purely superficial level, Noah in that tux The only thing messing it up is Jackie's presence!

The only thing messing it up is Jackie's presence! LOL Poor Jackie. I don't like her but in her shoes I wouldn't have been happy to see my boyfriend marry another woman ;D But oh course I'm happy that he did so

This scene was the beginning of Luke the jerk period that lasted until he and Holly got kidnapped by the DVX.

Yeah, Jackie will ruin any scene. I couldn't stand her but then I truly despised Anna a gazillion times more.
Until Duke the miracle worker came along and made me able to take her.
Robert needs Holly and Anna needs Duke. Is it too late to change careers and become an Executive Producer so I can get a job at GH and fix everything ?

I never really like Luke and Holly together even before a Robert enter picture. They were a mismatched coupling to me.I really didn't even notice Holly all that much while she was with Luke. But once she start spending time with Robert's something changed in her.She came unto her own in a big way.

I agree with you. I didn't care Holly when she was with Luke. I prefered Robert and Jackie rather Luke and Holly . But the best couple in that years was Robert and Luke Holly became interesting for me only after she married Robert

But the best couple in that years was Robert and Luke Holly became interesting for me only after she married Robert I agree on the best couple of '82 being Robert and Luke! I didn't like any couples of '82, I loved lots of characters, but no couples. That's probably why Robert and Holly ended up being so popular, aside from maybe Rick & Lesley, there were no good pairings left in '82...

The ratings actually went up in 1983 from 1982. That's a true testament to Robert and Holly.
