I have to agree with Tidewater. I sort of think the less emotion Robert Scorpio shows, the better. (When O'Reilly and Luke died, I didn't think those were TR's best scenes). Although I wouldn't have minded a tear when his beloved Holly walked out on him in '85. The only male I can think of that was a good crier was Stephen Nichols as Patch on DAYS. But then again, I think he cried too much. Can anyone else think of a good male crier? I actually thought his performance when O'Reilly died was rather good. I would agree though, that the fake cry when Luke died was not very realistic or believeable. Well I didn't think Tristan was bad. I just didn't think it was his best work. I also think Robert Scorpio is a man who wouldn't cry. He didn't get very emotional. We rarely saw that emotional side of him outside of Holly and Robin. Tristan was simply playing Robert Scorpio in character.

I sort of liked Sean in a weird sort of way. He was supposed to be a villain and betray Robert. I got that. I did hate the way he threw around the "old buddy" phrase but I didn't mind it as long as Sean was the "villain". And John Reilly did have chemistry with Tristan. The problem was that once TR left GH, they wanted to keep JR as he was a good actor but they just swept Sean's deeds under the carpet like Anna's. If GH would have kept him a little more devious (instead of making him Police Commissioner), I think I would have liked him a little more. I really did not get how he became police commissioner after his involvment in the Hostage train incident. I thought he went to jail after that

Remember when Sean first came on he explained his wealth by saying that some old rich guy they both knew dead and left it all to him. How come it never occurred to anyone that Sean probably bumped him off and forged a will leaving him everything.

That sounds like a good background for a story.Sean could have been messing around with some rich man's wife and they plotted to get rid of the old man and take his money, but Sean got greedy and framed the wife and got the goods all for himself.

It would be interesting except for the fact that Sean was in the story.

I go back and forth on my feelings for Sean. Sometimes he is slimy, sometimes I like him. What can I say? I have never forgiven him for kidnapping Holly though. Ticks me off that Robert forgave him.
