Is there any one of us who isn't grateful to that Larrick dude for taking Bobbie and Monica hostage? Two wonderful Robert and Holly scenes culminated from that.
First, Holly running into Robert's arms when it was finally over, and second, of course, her returning to his bed. Sigh........what a fantastic scene that was. The night before she had almost knocked ( was I the only one screaming at the TV? ) and then she thought she almost lost him.

Yea, I absolutely LOVED the hostage crisis. Plus, I think we really got to see "Police Commissioner Robert Scorpio" in full swing. I think that's where Tristan really comes into his own or sort of takes over the lead from Tony Geary.
I loved the hug when Holly finally sees Robert. And of course it culminates in what has to be one of my all-time favorite R&H scenes - where Holly finally goes back to Robert in his bed. <sigh>

I can't even count the number of times I've watched it. It was corriographed so well.

I am thinking that wasn't a friday cliffhanger..........maybe the conclusion to fridays cliffhanger. I would have to go back and watch the dvds to see if I can tell where the break was. Pure torture, watching that dvd again but I can do it for the good of the board...........lol
I remember my friend and I ran home on fridays and mondays. but we always knew NOTHING would happen on Thursdays. It was usually just a rerun of Wednesday, and the set up for Friday. Maybe I am remembering it wrong, it was a few years ago............

It would be nice to be able to hear the music , but better silence then nothing In this time period, you can really see how young Holly was. I think her leaving and walking back in was all one scene. I did like Luke seeing Holly running to Robert and Burt kind holds his hand out and shakes his head. Sort of like leave it be to Luke

Burt always championed for the Robert and Holly relationship.

I think after I watched those scenes for the hundreth time I saw the exchange between Burt and Luke. Tony Geary was really wonderful in that scene where he sees Robert and Holly embrace. And I will always love Burt. Such a shame what GH did to his character in the end. The first "guzafied" vet.

It might just be GM to blame for the shabby treatment of Burt.

I count Burt and Luke as GH really paying attention to the whole scene and the dynamic of what was happening at the time. Luke was probably hoping Holly would run to him and she didn't even notice him. She was all about her Robert
