The destruction of Burt is one of my biggest gripes. He was loyal he was dedicated and he was true blue. Then all the sudden one day we turn around and he is the enemy? I wonder if he was ready to retire and wanted out, and this was their way? Or if he was shown the door.

I think after I watched those scenes for the hundreth time I saw the exchange between Burt and Luke. Tony Geary was really wonderful in that scene where he sees Robert and Holly embrace. And I will always love Burt. Such a shame what GH did to his character in the end. The first "guzafied" vet. Don't even get me started on Burt/Mr Big. I still say someone spiked his milk. I count Burt and Luke as GH really paying attention to the whole scene and the dynamic of what was happening at the time. Luke was probably hoping Holly would run to him and she didn't even notice him. She was all about her Robert I don't even think that Holly gave it one moment of thought whether Luke was injured. She just ran to her man. That hug wasas intimate as scene we ever witnessed between Robert and Holly.

I didn't say the most intimate just as that scene was as intimate as any other we saw. In that moment when they hugged, it was only Robert and Holly in that cafeteria.

The only thing I didn't like about that storyline was, afterwards, even though she was back in his bed there were still scenes where she seemed to waver back and forth. It was really getting frustrating to watch.

It was really getting frustrating to watch. I agree. It was frustrating because I care nothing about Holly and Luke but it was realistic. It takes time to get over someone that meant allot to you.

I think monty wanted to draw out the triangle. It was realistic, but it was annoying. I mean, the guy with the perm or Robert plus, robert was far sweeter and loving, but luke was her first love...so that makes it tough

The only thing Luke had going for him was that he rescued Holly from her family. He had a lot of points in Holly's book for that but you can't build a life on that.

I remember reading that Tristan himself was frustrated with the storyline, and he actually said oh Hell, let him have her then, or something along those lines. It was probably getting old from an actors standpoint also.

That hug during the hostage crisis was one of the best scenes that I have scene between these two. You could see the love on Holly's face. I think at this point Luke actually realized that Holly was in fact in love with Robert. I also remember her continuing to have feelings for Luke but I could not understand this because she was with Luke such a short time that I found it real hard to believe that she was in love with him as well.

The Mirrors on bed I noticed the mirrors way back when I was a young teen and was wondering what they needed all those mirrors for
