What did you all think about the Brock murder case? I loved it. I thought Robert and Holly worked wonderful together. They were Hart to Hart/Nick and Nora all rolled into one. Plus, it was a wonderful time of togetherness right before the arrival of a certain British woman.

It's funny that you ask about this. I just put the 85 dvds in on sunday and started watching this storyline again. I loved the way they worked together in this storyline, and I almost felt sorry for Ginny for the way they gaslighted her. lol. I said almost..............

It was the difference between solving a mysterous/case and an adventure. Frankly, I would rather watch Robert, with Holly as his able assistant, solve a case than go off on an adventure.

I love the scenes where Holly was working the anagram. Another favorite was the dump scene where they look through the trash for clues. It wasn't high adventure but still fun to watch.

High adventure was good in small doses. But by the end of the mexican adventure, I was a little bored. I much prefer seeing them working together on cases like this one.

I much prefer the cases that involve solving a puzzle or figuring out who done it rather than the high adventure cases. I guess that is why the mob s/l on soaps has never really interested me.

I agree, there are too many mobsters in town. But I am all for keeping Sonny around, he is a good mobster. And sexy as hell, and those dimples..................... Ahem. But anyway, yeah, too much mob in PC land.

The problem with having one mobster in town, albeit with cute dimples, is that it begs more mobsters to support a s/l for that character.

See, Sonny could stay without the cops being bad. it would be more interesting if it was a constant battle of equal wits and you didn't know who would win.

I respectfully disagree. At some point, the mob boy has to be either caught and made to pay his crimes or the police force is portrayed as inept. Honestly, what would it had done to Robert's credibility if he couldn't find a way to lock up Sonny.

They are good at hiding what they do from the law or finding loopholes. Eventually, they could be caught, but it doesn't make the law inept. Gotti's anyone? yeah, papa went to jail and Jr is in and out, but there are plenty more mobsters free.

It just takes a creative mind and that is what GH needs
