Wow, I didn't know Denise Alexander was fired. I loved her, too and was initially resistant to Ginny but like I said before, Chapman's acting and Ginny's face when she killed Brock sucked me in ;D. Well to be totally honest, I'm not sure she was "fired". TPTB put Lesley in a car crash and tried to negotiate a lower salary. Alexander didn't want the lower salary so they killed off Lesley. Ginny was already there when Lesley died, wasn't she? Was Chapman's presence being used to make Alexander take the lower salary? Crappy and mean, but that's TPTB at fault not the character(s).

I get what you're saying. I didn't blame Ginny. It's just I was never going to buy "Rick and Ginny". I didn't like them as a couple and I resented GH trying to sell me "Rick & Ginny". But I did sort of like Ginny, if that makes sense.

I thought the reason why Leslie got canned was that she wanted more time off and GM threw a fit and fired her.

I've heard a different version about FH. But GM seemed to want to rule with an iron fist and if you defied her= Goodbye

I am watching this storyline again and the things I'm noticing that I missed the first time around is that Robert and Holly just couldn't keep their hands off each other. It was so much affection it's so sweet like Holly patting his bottom in this clip.

I liked Judith Chapman on GH...liked her on Days too for that matter (not as much as Jane Elliot in that particular role though)...and if she were paired with some other guy (though nobody was really free at that time), I would have liked her better. Rick & Ginny was never going to work with me since I loved Rick and Lesley and loved Lesley while I liked Ginny. The Brock Murder case...I'm currently rewatching it, and I really liked it for R&H. They were truly a team here. It wasn't Holly having to fight Robert to help him solve the case. She was his equal. She came up with the missing bullet leaving the penthouse in a purse and also that only a plaque would have been weighty enough to stop it. It doesn't top the Susan Moore or Beatrice LaSeur case, but still, it rates pretty high for me.

R&H were truly a team, plus It was well written and interesting, it was one of those underrated murder mystery that was really, VERY good but didn't get the credit, again R&H were fabulous together in the story.

well, computers were as main stream then, as they are now. Besides, people throw everything out. is it so unbelievable that someone would toss out a wedding ring or engagement ring and not a computer? No, they weren't that mainstream yet. Remember, that Apple or Mac commercial aired during the SB in 1984? (IMO, that was the stupidest commercial, and critics loved it b/c people were wondering what they were selling. To this day, it ranks right up there as the stupidest commercial ever.) They still were pretty expensive, and not easily upgradeable. So, if a PC was trashed, I highly doubt it was usable, besides mostly everything used DOS, not Word.

I think they have a plan when they start, but maybe it's ADD or maybe it's people figure it out, or they decide they like the character who was about to go down and they do these last minute changes that just don't work. Still, I loved Robert, Holly, and Burt solving this case. I loved how it again, involved so many of the cast. It really made Robert and Holly shine and did highlight the abilities of Ginny's acting. It really had a lot of drama. Would Bobbie be convicted? Will Ginny cracK? Can Robert and Holly solve this in time? and it even got Robert a hair cut. and while the Commish(not robert- the commish here) didn't like it- I did ;D I'm with the Commish. I thought it was too short. By the time she left though, it had grown long enough that it didn't look so bad.
