80's stories seemed to encompass a lot more of the cast than current GH stories do ... but which one do you think used the most?

I do remember them trying to do business with Sean once he arrived in PC ...

I do remember them trying to do business with Sean once he arrived in PC ... True. It started once R&H returned to PC and continued until the end of the summer. It included Tony getting shot and everyone there- police-hospital-baddies-amy blabbing-grant, celia, jimmy lee, the Qs, Bobbie had a side story going on--with Jake and Terry. So many people shared the screen. Rick and Ginny had a side story...

GH is really missing out right now by not having any characters who are reporters ... as journalists, Jackie, Ginny & Tiffany were involved in nearly everything. I miss the TV station and Ginny/Tiff as anchors. I even miss the jerk reporters Jackie, Ian and Mark Carlin :-

That was what was amazing. GH used to do real umbrella stories. The other characters had their own real part of the story-- not just talking about what the other characters are doing

The other characters had their own real part of the story-- not just talking about what the other characters are doing And often, they had no CLUE what the others were doing (Grant, Natalie, Luke in PD, Ginny in the Brock Murder), that was the best part!

Watching some of Donelys3 clips from 1982 and thinking the Oil Scam involved almost everyone, didn't it?

You know when characters like Dan Rooney have a part in a storyline, they are using most of the cast.

The Ice Princess got to involve a lot because everyone was affected by the weather. That might be the most across the board. The oil scam is another good example. In later years, I think the cartel story with Faison, Barret and Tabu stretched over a lot of the canvas.
